Wine & Chocolate Stroll in Downtown Livermore - Feb 7th

If there’s one event that feels made for February, this is it. 🍷🍫 The Wine & Chocolate Stroll is coming to Downtown Livermore on Saturday, February 7, from 1–4 pm, and it’s the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s season a little early.

Stroll through downtown, pop into local shops, sample 15+ local wines, and enjoy chocolate treats along the way. Bring your partner, grab your friends, or make it a Galentine’s afternoon — this one is all about sipping, snacking, and supporting local businesses.

Festive, walkable, and delicious… you know I’ll be there! Click Here for Tickets! Early Bird Tix are only $40 (price goes up on January 30th!)

Wines & Valentines with Museum on Main

Looking for a meaningful (and fun) way to celebrate Valentine’s season? Museum on Main invites you to its annual Wines & Valentines Fundraising Dinner on Friday, February 6, from 5–10 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pleasanton. $175 per person.

This special evening includes a delicious three-course dinner paired with wine, plus a silent and live auction, music, dancing, and an award ceremony — all for a great cause. Proceeds from the night support Museum on Main’s education programs, which serve thousands of children each year through school tours, family days, preschool reading time, and more. Many of these programs are free or low-cost, ensuring that every child has access to learning and culture, regardless of family income.

If you’re looking for a night out that gives back to the community in a meaningful way, this is one worth putting on your calendar.

TWO Must-Visit New Restaurants in Livermore!

Last week was a foodie week for me as I ventured out to a pair of new restaurants in Livermore and both were fantastic!

Meza n Moka celebrated their Grand Opening this past weekend in the Trader Joe’s shopping center on E. Stanley Blvd., and there’s truly nothing else like it in Livermore. The menu is an explosion of Mediterranean flavors, featuring familiar favorites like kebabs, falafel, shawarma, and hummus — alongside unique standouts that set it apart. The Algerian Beef Wrap, loaded with fries inside and finished with a crave-worthy sauce, is a must-order. We also loved the Chicken Kebab plate and Lamb Shawarma. Bonus points for a kids menu, plus burgers and wings for less adventurous eaters. Don’t skip the drinks — the tea and coffee menu ranges from lattes and mochas to Thai iced tea and Turkish coffee. And save room for dessert: cakes, baklava, and sweet (and savory) crepes, including a Nutella & Banana favorite.

Just a short drive away near the outlet stores on the Livermore/Pleasanton border, The Hangar SFO brings a sports-bar meets gastropub vibe with real culinary flair - everything is made fresh in-house and it shows. The scene is modern and airy, with big screens everywhere and an outdoor patio that will be a summer favorite. But the food steals the show: Loaded Thrice-Cooked Fries are spicy, cheesy, and meaty; the Bacon Jalapeño Mac & Cheese is creamy comfort with a kick; the Smashburger is juicy and messy in the best way; and the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich layers bacon, pickles, Asian pear slaw, and sriracha aioli for big flavor. With 70 self-serve taps plus handcrafted cocktails (including three espresso martinis), this is a perfect stop for game day, family night, or date night.

Two new spots. Two very different vibes. Both absolutely worth checking out.

In Partnership with the Festival of Undiscovered Grapes
A Different Type of Wine Festival - 72 Hour Flash Sale BOGO Tickets!

The Festival of Undiscovered Grapes returns to San Jose on Saturday, January 31, from 12–5 PM, bringing together boutique producers from Paso Robles, Sonoma, Livermore Valley, Lodi, Santa Barbara, and beyond. Expect an impressive lineup of wines — many poured by the winemakers themselves, giving you the rare chance to ask questions, hear their stories, and connect directly with the people behind what’s in your glass.

The Marvelous Story-Go-Round at Omega Winery

Get ready to laugh, cringe, and nod in recognition at Story Go Round: A Night of Hilarious True Tales on Friday, January 30, from 7–9 pm. This month’s theme is “Losing It” — losing your keys, your patience, your job, or just your cool. Inspired by The Moth (but firmly on the funny side), comics share real-life stories full of honesty and comedy gold. Then the mic opens to the audience — your one-minute story could steal the show.
