St. Patrick’s Day weekend in the Tri-Valley always means one thing… it’s time for Dublin’s famous St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade.

The festivities kick off Friday, March 13 with the Dublin Historical Society’s Shamrock Gala at the Shannon Community Center. From there, the fun continues all weekend with one of the Bay Area’s most beloved St. Patrick’s traditions.

On Saturday morning, grab a stack of green pancakes at the Firefighters Pancake Breakfast before finding your spot along the route for the 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, starting at 9:30am.

The festival runs Saturday and Sunday with three stages of Irish music and dance, bagpipes, Celtic rock, and nonstop Irish dancers. You’ll also find an international food court featuring everything from corned beef sliders and bangers and mash to fish and chips, plus 250+ vendor booths, carnival rides, and the charming Irish Tea Cottage.
