New Spanish Restaurant Coming to Downtown Pleasanton

A new Spanish restaurant is coming to downtown Pleasanton, and I’m already excited about this one.

The former Frontier Spice space on Main Street is being taken over by local restaurateur German Carlucci, who also owns Brava Garden Eatery and Planta Coffee House.

He’s planning a Spanish-inspired concept called Caramba, featuring tapas, small plates, and a great wine list.

If you know me, you know I love Spanish food, so this is right up my alley.

One of my favorite newer spots in the Tri-Valley is L Campo in Livermore, and I’m so excited to see more of this style of cuisine popping up locally.

If all goes as planned, they’re hoping to open by the end of May.

Definitely one to keep on your radar.

8th Annual Tri-Valley Innovation Fair is THIS Saturday!

Bring the whole family to the Tri-Valley Innovation Fair on April 18 for a fun day of hands-on science, technology, and creativity.

There will be more than 70 exhibits featuring discoveries and innovations from local companies, schools, and community groups, plus plenty of interactive activities both indoors and outdoors.

You can also meet scientists, engineers, and creators, and enjoy special performances throughout the day.

Best of all, it’s free to attend.

If you have curious kids or just love fun family events, this sounds like a great one to add to your list. Saturday April 18th from 10am-5pm at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
