Break out the neon because Wente After Dark is going full 80s.

The Ultimate 80s Dance Party is happening at Wente Family Vineyards on August 15th from 6–10pm, and I will definitely be there!

Expect a DJ spinning the biggest hits of the decade, dancing under the lights, 80s video games, glow sticks, a 360 photo booth, bubble machine, and prizes for Best Dressed, Best Dance Moves, and more.

There will also be Wente wines, beer, cocktails, concessions, and a welcome splash of wine when you arrive.

Exciting news for fans of Livermore food and drinks.

The Downtown Pour Collective officially launched this week, and I’m so excited for founder Nick Martinez and all the local businesses already taking part.

This new members club is built for people who love going out in downtown Livermore.

Members get five pours a month at five local spots, with a focus on weeknights when things are a little more relaxed and your bartender might actually learn your name.

Founding businesses include Demitri's Taverna, Swirl on the Square, The Cheese Parlor, Calamari Bistro, Stampede, L Campo, Wingen Bakery, Bruno's and more to come.

Forkful is back, and tickets are already selling fast.

Downtown Pleasanton’s restaurants are coming together on Saturday, September 12 from 2–5pm for Forkful: A Culinary Stroll Through Downtown Pleasanton.

Think of it as one delicious afternoon where you get to stroll through downtown, visit 10 participating locations, and taste signature bites from some of Pleasanton’s best restaurants.

Each restaurant will serve its own “perfect forkful,” showcasing flavors from different cultures, cuisines, and chefs, along with thoughtfully paired beverages.

And honestly, it’s a great deal. Tickets are $45 including fees and include 10 small bite and beverage pairings, a commemorative Forkful event fork, an event map, and a Pleasanton passport so you can vote for Chef’s Best Bite.

Danville’s new Theatre Plaza is kicking things off with Jazz & Juice on Friday, August 21 at 6:30pm.

This 21+ evening brings together live music from a professional jazz quartet, complimentary drinks, light snacks, and a relaxed summer night in downtown Danville.

It sounds like a great way to check out the new outdoor gathering space, enjoy some music, and ease into the weekend. Tickets are only $30.
