🌲Tri-Valley Holiday Drive - A Curated List from Tri-Valley Explorer!

One of my favorite holiday traditions is piling into the car with the kids, turning up the Christmas music, and cruising around to see all the amazing light displays in our area. 🚗

This year, I went all in — scouring the internet and driving all over the Tri-Valley to track down the very best, must-see homes and neighborhoods decked out for the season.

Get ready… these spots are pure holiday magic!

🎄 Pleasanton Christmas Lights Loop (2025)

Discover Pleasanton’s most magical holiday homes on a perfectly planned loop — simple, bright, and full of cheer.

Start around 5:00–5:30 pm to catch lights early and avoid peak traffic.

A mix of legendary synchronized shows, family-friendly neighborhoods, and high-quality single-home displays.

📍 Stop 1 — Fairbanks Family Christmas Display – 15 Molina Ct

  One of the longest-running synchronized shows in the Bay Area (39+ years).
 🎶 Over 300,000+ pixels/channels, full musical sequencing — a must-see.
 🚗 Tune your FM radio and park safely along the court.
 📸 Excellent “wow” shots — best opening stop.

 

📍 Stop 2 — Parsons Court (Decorated Court Cluster)

 🎄 Several homes decorate annually with coordinated themes and inflatables.
 🧒 Great family-friendly slow-drive or short walk.
  Frequently shared in San Ramon community Facebook groups.
 🚶 Best enjoyed on foot if parking is available nearby.

A cozy, family-friendly loop of neighborhood displays, festive courts, and well-loved homes with long-running traditions. 

📍 Stop 1 — Tassajara Lane & El Capitan Dr Cluster (Hidden Valley/Danville North)

Frequently recommended in Danville community Facebook groups.
 🎄 Multiple homes participate with rooflines, inflatables, wreaths & trees.
 🚗 A perfect slow-roll opening to ease into the loop.
 💡 Best around 5:30–7:30pm.
 

📍 Stop 2 — Hemme Avenue Court / Sycamore Area

A sweet cluster of decorated homes, popular with families.
 🧒 Good for short walks with kids — sidewalks are wide and safe.
 📸 Pretty canopy-style lighting in some years.

Note: Decorations vary yearly but this is consistently listed as a strong neighborhood stop.

 📸 Great photo stop — the cul-de-sac layout gives a cozy holiday vibe.

 

📍 Stop 4 — Danville Livery Holiday Lights (Bonus Commercial Stop) – 400 Sycamore Valley Rd.


  Elegant white lights on buildings, trees & walkways.
  Pair with coffee or cocoa from Peet’s or Sideboard.
 🎄 Not a home display, but a beautiful, festive finale for families.

 🧒 Hemme Ave is safest and easiest with small kids.
 🍪 End at the Livery for cocoa, cookies & holiday photos.
