In Partnership with Livermore Vallery Arts
An Evening With Lyle Lovett - Plus an Epic After Party!
Opening Night at the Bankhead is bringing four-time Grammy Award winner Lyle Lovett to Livermore for a special evening supporting Arts Education in our community.
And the night does not end when the concert does. Following Lyle Lovett’s performance, the celebration continues with the NEW Plaza After Party featuring Matt Axton & Badmoon.
Guests can dance under the stars, enjoy tapas-style bites and desserts, sip beverages from the no-host bar, and celebrate the arts with fellow community supporters.
It’s part concert, part after party, and all for a great cause.
This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a night to remember.

Little Fire Update

photo cred: Seema Chawla
The "Little Fire" broke out Tuesday afternoon near Callippe Preserve Golf Course, burning more than 1,000 acres in Sunol and forcing hundreds of Ruby Hill and surrounding Pleasanton residents to evacuate. By Wednesday night it was 60% contained.
No structures were lost and everyone returned home, though one firefighter suffered minor injuries when an engine rolled over. The city opened the Pleasanton Senior Center as an evacuation support site.
The community rallied fast. A Ruby Hill family opened their Burger King locations in Livermore and Pleasanton so first responders could eat and rest for free, and residents are now planning an event next month to honor them.
Thanks to Pleasanton Weekly for their reporting. Read their full article for all the details.

Beer City is Coming Back to San Ramon!
Beer City Bishop Ranch is back in San Ramon on Saturday, September 12, and it’s basically a choose-your-own-adventure kind of Saturday.
Run the half marathon, 10K, or 5K, take it easy with the 1-mile Beer Stroll, or go all in with Beat the Beast Beer Mile.
After the race, stick around for local breweries, food, music, games, and the post-race party at Fieldwork Brewing.
Families are welcome, dogs are allowed on leash, and registration is open now.
It’s a fun excuse to get outside, drink local, and make a day of it.
