Dublin’s Holiday Home Decorating Contest is Back!
Registration for the 2025 Holiday Home Decorating Contest is officially open — and it’s totally free to enter!
If you love going all-out with holiday lights, inflatables, music, and festive displays, this is your moment to shine. Winners will receive a local business gift card, a yard sign, and a certificate of recognition from the Dublin City Council.
Registration Deadline:
📅 December 5, 2025
⏰ 4:00 PM
Judging:
📅 December 8–11, 2025
⏰ 5–9 PM each night
Your display must be fully lit and running during these hours.
Winner Announcements:
🏆 Winners selected at the December 15th Parks & Community Services Commission meeting

🎉 Formal recognition at the January 13, 2026 City Council meeting

A Crab Feed for Youth Sports!
Some of you know that I’m a proud mom of two teen cheerleaders who pour their hearts into competitive All-Star cheer. I also help support their teams through fundraising, and one of the organizations I work with — East County All-Stars — is hosting an incredible Crab Feed on February 21st in Knightsen (right next to Brentwood).
I would love to see many of you there! The food is going to be fantastic, and we’ve lined up some amazing door prizes and raffles.

Did you know that some of our favorite local spots completely transform into holiday wonderlands this time of year? From over-the-top décor to themed cocktails, these festive pop-ups are such a fun way to celebrate the season. Here are a few of my favorites.
Cellar Door (Pleasanton): Their Christmas Story Bar is officially open and it looks amazing. No BB guns here—we triple-dog-dare you to check it out.
The Fat Pigeon (Livermore): They’re known for going all-in on themes, and Miracle at The Fat Pigeon does NOT disappoint. Think wild decorations, festive drinks, and cozy holiday vibes.
Sauced BBQ & Spirits (Livermore): Fun décor, seasonal cocktails and mocktails, plus all the BBQ goodness you already love.
Beer Baron (Pleasanton): Sippin’ Santa is back! It’s Christmas meets tiki bar—and it’s as fun as it sounds.
Da Boccery (Livermore): This place is huge, and they absolutely decked it out. It’s the perfect holiday backdrop for Bocce, Axe Throwing, or just a festive night out.

The Holiday Sights & Sounds Parade is coming up on December 6th, and the Livermore Downtown team is looking for amazing volunteers to help bring the magic to life!
