Good Morning Tri-Valley! Summer is in full swing and I’ve got lots to share with you!

Meyhouse has officially arrived in San Ramon, and it feels like exactly what the Tri-Valley needed. The name comes from the Turkish word meyhane, which means wine house.

It’s the kind of place where you gather with family and friends, share food, enjoy drinks, and settle in for a night that feels a little special.

The first Meyhouse opened in Sunnyvale in 2019, followed by Palo Alto in 2023, and now San Ramon has its own location, complete with a beautiful dining room and a state-of-the-art jazz club tucked away in the back.

We started in the main dining room, which has such a great energy. It’s bustling but still intimate, and even though the space is large, the service made it feel personal.

We ordered cocktails for the table, and the cocktail list is seriously impressive. I loved the Meyhouse Vesper Martini, made with gin, lemon vodka, lavender, and Lillet Blanc. We also tried the Island Chai with rye, spiced pear liqueur, sage tea, and lemon, plus the Cappadocia Fire, a mezcal cocktail with Serrano pepper, lime, and Aperol.

For food, we went family style so we could try a little bit of everything. The Türkmen Manti, steamed Turkish dumplings, were a favorite, along with the stuffed piquillo peppers and Köpoglu, a roasted eggplant dish with peppers, tomato sauce, and homemade garlic yogurt.

For mains, we loved the Antrikot, a perfectly cooked ribeye with lemon mashed potatoes, and the whole Branzino, which was beautifully seasoned and served with green salad.

After dinner, we headed into the jazz club for drinks and live music, and this is what really makes Meyhouse stand out. The room is tucked away in the back, with space for about 40 people, gorgeous lighting, comfortable seating, and incredible acoustics.

It feels intimate in the best way, like you’ve discovered something special hiding right here in San Ramon. You can also order food and drinks in the jazz club, so you could easily make the music the main event.

Beaulieu Vineyard is coming back to Pasta’s Trattoria this Thursday, July 23 for a seriously special wine dinner featuring the legendary Georges de Latour.

This is Pasta’s 112th wine dinner, and this one is a big one.

The 2021 B.V. Georges de Latour was named the #2 wine of the year by Wine Spectator and received 98-point scores from James Suckling and Jeb Dunnuck.

Chef Jose Garcia has created a five-course wine-paired dinner for the evening, and the menu looks incredible.

Vasco Row is already one of Livermore’s hidden gems, and on Saturday, July 25, it’s turning into a full summer party.

Jam in July returns from 12–7pm, bringing together 11 bands, food trucks, wine, beer, spirits, local vendors, and more.

If you haven’t been to Vasco Row, it’s a collection of winery tasting rooms, breweries, distilleries, and local makers tucked into an industrial area that has become its own little destination.
