Cricket is Growing Fast in San Ramon!

Cricket is having a big moment in San Ramon.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the city has become a Tri-Valley hub for the sport, thanks in part to the region’s growing Indian and South Asian community.

Over the last decade, San Ramon has converted several baseball and soccer fields to create three regulation cricket fields, making it the only city in the Tri-Valley with that many dedicated cricket grounds.

Youth interest has grown quickly too. What started years ago as a casual weekly pickup game with about a dozen kids has turned into hundreds of young players wanting to learn and compete.

It’s another example of how the Tri-Valley keeps growing and changing, with new traditions becoming part of the community.

I took 25 locals to AMP MODE last week for a night out filled with interactive games that combined skill, strategy, exercise and fun! We split into teams across the 4 game pods and had such a great time with some friendly competition.

With over 10 games to choose from, your group can pick the ones that are right for you. You work with the AMP MODE team to pick the games you want and then let the fun begin.

EVERYONE loved it and can’t wait to come back! Check out AMP MODE for your next party, group event or date night! You can also book corporate team building events and order food to be delivered.

Livermore Youth Council is Recruiting New Members!
