For those not in the know, Pleasanton might seem under the radar as a dining destination—but us locals know better! Between its casual spots serving incredible birria and refined bistros showcasing seasonal ingredients, this city has a foodie scene worth talking about. It’s always exciting to see food press from outside the area give Pleasanton the spotlight it deserves!

I spotted this in my Instagram feed and couldn’t help but click—food writer Gabi Moskowitz from The Infatuation shared her picks for the Top 14 Restaurants in Pleasanton.

Note: This isn’t my personal Top 14 for Pleasanton, but I love seeing how a non-local experiences our restaurant scene for the first time!

Here’s Gabi’s Top 14, in no particular order:

  • Sabio on Main

  • Nonni’s Bistro

  • De La Torre’s Trattoria

  • Elia

  • Oyo

  • Experience Burma

  • Naschmarkt

  • Tri-Valley Bistro

  • Lokanta

  • Bocado: Un Petit Bistro

  • Locanda Amalfi

  • Mylapore

  • Curry Leaves

  • Bronzes Taqueria

I’ll admit, there are a few spots I would have added, but she nailed many of my favorites—and even mentioned two places I haven’t tried yet (they’re now on my list!).
