TASTE Weekend is Coming up Soon!
Livermore Valley’s TASTE weekend is bringing more than a dozen events to wine country, each celebrating this incredible community in a different way.
One to have on your list: Cattle, Cabernet & Country.
This event leans into Livermore Valley’s ranching roots, pairing bold local Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with ranch-inspired bites, local beef, live country music, and dancing under the moonlight on a perfect Fall evening. 6:30-9:30pm.
Guests will taste wines from seven Livermore Valley wineries and meet the ranching families who help share and shape this land.

4 New Restaurants in Pleasanton!

Pacific Pearl Shopping Center, the location of 99 Ranch Market and several other restaurants, will welcome four new restaurants, the shopping center announced.
Chi Cha San Chen, an international Taiwanese tea brand, is scheduled to open in late August in a 1,037-square-foot space at 2709 Stoneridge Drive. Its menu will feature brewed tea, milk tea, fruit tea, and signature creations.
Eight Turn Crepe is a New York City brand that specializes in Japanese crepes made with gluten-free rice flour. Each crepe is prepared fresh, filled with a choice of sweet or savory ingredients, and rolled into a handheld cone. The franchise plans to open a 1,647-square-foot space at 2693 Stoneridge Drive in late September or early October.
Yogurtland is an international brand that allows guests to create their own combinations from a rotating selection of frozen yogurt, ice cream and plant-based flavors, and a wide variety of toppings. The franchise has signed a lease for a 1,220-square-foot location at 2709 Stoneridge Drive. An opening date will be announced as plans are finalized.
HiroNori Craft Ramen has received recognition in the Michelin Guide for its broths, noodles, rice bowls, and Japanese-inspired dishes. The restaurant will occupy a 1,404-square-foot space at 2709 Stoneridge Drive and open at a soon-to-be announced date.

Pasta’s has built a loyal following for these wine dinners over the years, and this one is sure to be another memorable evening.

Convergence Tech Summit, powered by Innovate Bay, takes place on Thursday, September 17 from 9am–6pm at the Roundhouse Market & Conference Center at Bishop Ranch.

18 Days Until the Scottish Games!

The Scottish Games are returning to the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton over Labor Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 5–6.
This is California’s oldest and largest Scottish Games, with Highland dancing, piping and drumming, live bands, sheepdog trials, Celtic animals, birds of prey, living history, vendors, Scottish food, and the famous heavy athletics.

Beer City: Half Marathon, 10K and 5K

Beer City is back at Bishop Ranch, and this one is part race day, part beer festival, and all-around fun.
The day kicks off with the Beer City Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, followed by an afternoon festival with East Bay breweries, live music, and local food vendors.
Guests can also check out the fan-favorite Beat the Beast Beer Mile, hop on the Beer City Trolley to explore local taprooms, and hang out at the official Shindig with Fieldwork Brewing.
