We’re giving away 10 large pizzas — one to each winner — redeemable at Tandoori Pizza’s Pleasanton, Dublin, or San Ramon locations. If you’ve never tried them, they’re OG Tri-Valley (their first location opened in Dublin back in 2015) and a longtime favorite in our house. Their fusion pizzas are unreal, but the classics always hit too.

Livermore’s chocolatier extraordinaire, Larissa Milano — owner of Bluebirds Chocolate — is hosting THREE chocolate-and-wine experiences this month, and if you haven’t tried her chocolates yet, you’re truly missing out. Each event offers a delicious look at how chocolate and wine come together in unexpected ways.

February 6 | 6:30–8:30 PM — Chocolate & Wine Pairing Class with Sakura Winery
This pairing experience is anything but ordinary. Guided by Larissa, guests will enjoy custom-crafted bonbons filled with silky ganaches, gooey caramels, and bright pâte de fruits, each thoughtfully paired to elevate the wine. You’ll also experience a deconstructed bonbon to better understand how these pairings are built.

February 12 | 6:30–8:30 PM — Unfiltered with Omega Road Winery
Larissa is the featured guest for this educational seminar. Guests will taste cocoa nibs and fresh cocoa pulp from Ecuador, see a real cocoa pod cracked open, and learn how chocolate goes from bean to confection — plus the difference between a chocolate maker and a chocolatier.

February 28 | 2–4 PM — Chocolate & Wine Pairing Class with Charles R Vineyards
This guided class features five curated wine-and-chocolate pairings, with two handcrafted bonbons per pairing, designed to highlight flavor, texture, and aroma working together.

Las Positas College’s Music Department is hosting its first-ever Applied Music Showcase on Friday, Feb. 6 at the Mertes Center for the Performing Arts. The evening features student solo performances, with proceeds supporting student travel, instruments, and guest artists.

The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council is accepting applications for the Youth Excellence in Arts (YEA!) Awards, open to high school students in music, visual arts, and literary arts. Awards range from $100–$1,000, including recognition for students with financial need.

The Rotarian Foundation of Livermore has opened applications for its Community Grant Program, awarding up to $10,000 to local nonprofits.
