Looking for something to do on Labor Day? This Wine & Pizza Competition should be on your radar! I had such a fun time at this event last year!
Wood Family Vineyards is hosting Livermore’s 3rd Annual Wine and Pizza Pairing Competition on Labor Day, and this is the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
Guests will taste gourmet pizzas from 10 local pizza makers, sip Wood Family wines, and vote for their favorite pizzas and pizza-and-wine pairings.
Featured pizza makers include Extreme Pizza, Fatt Catt Pizza, Hearth Wood Fired Pizza & Catering, La Matrix Pizza, Much Ado About Pizza, Original Anthony’s Pizza Joint, Peace of Pizza, Slanging Dough Pizza, Tio’s Pizza, and Dos Corazones Pizzeria.

Caymus Vineyards x Pasta’s Trattoria for 1 Epic Dinner
Pasta’s Trattoria is back with another big wine dinner, and this one features Caymus Vineyards.
On Wednesday, September 16 at 6pm, Pasta’s will celebrate its 114th wine dinner with a five-course prix-fixe menuand hand-selected wine pairings.
The menu includes assorted appetizers, Pasta’s famous lobster roll, grilled pork tenderloin, prime filet with crab, and pumpkin bundino, paired with wines from Emmolo, Mer Soleil, and Caymus, including the 2020 Caymus Napa Special Selection.
Tickets are $170 per person.

The Mash Bill is coming back to Livermore for a second pour!
Tickets are now live for The 2026 Mash Bill, a reimagined whiskey tasting experience happening on Sunday, September 27 from 4–7pm at Rosetta Roasting in downtown Livermore.
Guests can enjoy 25+ curated pours from 6+ featured distilleries, meet the people behind the spirits, and take home a custom Mash Bill Glencairn glass.
Marty’s Joint will be onsite with signature comfort food, and The Tikeasy at Rosetta will offer premium cocktails and desserts.
