Explorer, scientist, and storyteller Dr. Albert Lin comes to the Bankhead on Thursday, September 10 at 7:30pm for an inspiring evening about discovery, resilience, and the power of curiosity.
Lin has explored ancient civilizations in some of the most remote places on Earth, using technology and storytelling to uncover what is hidden beneath the surface.
After a life-changing accident, his greatest frontier became his own recovery.

Word on the Street Books is BLOWING up on Insta!
Livermore is getting a new bookstore this weekend and they are literally blowing up on Instagram. Their latest post has over 2,000 likes and I’m really excited about this local business!
Word on the Street Books is officially opening its doors on Saturday, August 22 at 10am, and they’re celebrating opening day with a few fun perks.
The first 50 customers will receive a free Word on the Street Books tote bag, and everyone who visits on opening day can enter to win one of three $25 gift cards.
Whether you’re looking for your next great read, shopping for someone you love, or just want to check out the new space, this is such a fun local opening to support.

I am so happy to see PRIMA Vini in its new Danville home.
PRIMA Vini was one of my favorite wine shops in the Bay Area when they were in Dublin, so seeing them open a new spot in Danville is very exciting.

Taqueria Azteca has been a local favorite for years, and if you follow them on Instagram, you already know they know how to get people’s attention.
They have more than 80K followers and a bunch of viral posts, but the real move is watching for their off-menu deals.
They’ve been posting some incredible specials lately that are not on the regular menu. Just show the post to the staff, and they’ll hook you up.
This one came across my feed this week: 20 tacos and steak fries for only $30.
