Livermore Valley’s Premier Wine & Culinary Experience

I wait all year for Taste Our Terroir—Livermore Valley’s signature food + wine celebration—and it somehow gets better every time. This year it’s a four-day affair from Thursday, Oct 16 to Sunday, Oct 19, 2025, packed with experiences that show off the very best of our valley.

The kick off is Thursday night at Wente Family Vineyards with the Taste Our Terroir Food & Wine Pairing Competition. Twenty wineries team up with local chefs for inventive pairings, judged by pros and guests. Expect big flavors, decadent desserts, and plenty of toasts for the winners. VIP Tickets are sold out, but there are still a handful of General Admission tix available!

The rest of the weekend is all about intimate, can’t-miss moments: scenic vineyard hikes, hands-on cooking classes, sommelier-led tastings, and varietal spotlights like Cluck, Cluck Cab Franc and the Ocean & Vine Sauvignon Blanc Social. We’ll wrap it up with an elegant winemaker dinner and a masquerade under the stars..

The legendary San Francisco Comedy Competition is back, and The Bankhead is hosting one of the semi-final rounds! This iconic competition (now in its 49th year!) has jump-started the careers of greats like Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Major League Table Tennis Coming to Pleasanton!

Did you know there’s such a thing as Major League Table Tennis? I didn’t—and I’m so excited to find out there’s even a Bay Area team! My kids love playing table tennis and always love watching it on TV during the Olympics.

Season 3 of MLTT kicks off right here with three days of jaw-dropping action, featuring the Bay Area Blasters. Even cooler? The team includes Lily Zhang, a Bay Area native and five-time Olympian who’s known worldwide for her speed and precision. This is table tennis like you’ve never seen before—fast, fierce, and totally thrilling for all ages.
